Build something cool with Facebook and Google APIs to win £500 cash prize and fast-track admission to Imperial Digital Accelerator programme. Two senior Facebook recruitment directors will also be present, looking to scout talent.
What exactly is it?
Imperial Hackathon is a 2 day hacking tournament supported by Facebook, JP Morgan and Imperial Innovations. We invite anyone who can program to sign up as a team to compete. You can also sign-up individually and we will arrange a team for you.

When is it? After the success of this year’s event, we will be hosting the second Imperial Hackathon next year. Sign to our mailing list to make sure you don’t miss it!
What can I do? Anything. Build webapps or mobile apps around our core theme (secret – to be announced on the night before the event).
What’s in it for me? £500 cash prize to be split among top teams as well as being fast-tracked for admission to the Imperial Innovations digital accelerator programme with introductions to leading startups & mentors in London’s TechCity.
What will happen?
- Brunch and launch presentation by Facebook and JP Morgan on Saturday morning
- Pitch to a panel of judges (entrepreneurs and technology innovators) on Sunday evening
- Refreshments throughout the weekend
- Winners get £500 cash prize. If your idea has a significant commercial potential you will also be fast-tracked to Imperial Innovations’ digital accelerator programme.
